Sorry, I am not credentialed with any insurance companies, though I can give you a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement.

Call, text, email, self-schedule, smoke signal, whatever. Once we pick a date and time, I’ll send you a teensy bit of paperwork to complete before we have our first session.

Although I do not presently charge more for intake sessions, I will often try to schedule with a little flexibility in case we run long. In this session, expect us to use a lot of our time getting a lay of the land (your situation, problems, goals, personal history, etc.) before we get to work.

I’m really a pretty practical guy. At the end of the day, therapy is all about building a relationship, developing insight into your situation, and having new experiences. In a nutshell, that’s pretty much it.

Now, how we get there depends mostly on your situation and your preferences. However, based on my typical clientele, you should expect to spend some time and effort making sense of your experiences, expressing yourself effectively, and experimenting with doing things differently.

I have a limited number of sliding scale slots, usually reserved for situations where I am maintaining continuity of care for an established or returning client.

It doesn’t hurt to ask, though. Worst case, maybe I can help make a referral.

I do respectfully ask that you not arrive to sessions high or drunk. It’s just not a good headspace for therapy. Or driving to and from your appointment.
