In-Office Appointments

My office is located at 101 South Jennings Street, a historic Fort Worth building known for its architecture and character. You can learn more about this building’s history and architecture here. I chose this location intentionally for its warm, comfortable, and non-clinical atmosphere

In-office appointments have several advantages over virtual appointments, such as:

  • Clearer, more immediate nonverbal communication

  • Fewer technological disruptions

  • High standard of privacy

  • A defined space you only visit for therapy

  • Increased opportunity for intentionality and follow-through

Some approaches, such as experiential or Gestalt work, are more effective in person because they rely on movement, presence, and immediacy.

Hybrid

A hybrid model gives you the flexibility to choose between in-office and virtual sessions based on your needs, schedule, and resources each week. This option works well for clients who can attend in person occasionally but also value the convenience of telehealth.

In my experience, even a single in-person session early on can help build rapport and strengthen attunement. That connection often carries forward into virtual sessions, and can be maintained or even improved with future in-person sessions.

There is no fixed structure to a hybrid approach. You might choose to do deeper insight and experience-oriented work in the office. You might use telehealth for more solution-focused work or when your schedule is tight due to work, school, or family responsibilities. Hybrid is also a great fit for clients who travel frequently or need flexibility without losing continuity.

Virtual Appointments

I offer secure, HIPAA-compliant video sessions to clients located anywhere in Texas. This option is especially useful for those who live outside the Fort Worth area or face logistical barriers to in-person care, such as transportation limitations, caregiving responsibilities, or demanding schedules.

Telehealth is well suited to modalities that emphasize cognitive work and primarily verbal interaction. Cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and recovery protection planning all translate effectively to this format.

If you choose to meet virtually, I recommend identifying or creating a private, comfortable space where you can engage without distraction.

*While I prefer clients make an informed choice about the format that best supports their goals, there may be circumstances in which I require in-person sessions due to safety concerns. Once those concerns are resolved, we can revisit virtual or hybrid options.
